Direct loans is a united states education program which provides loans to help students in college.

The department of education allows students to choose which program they desire to use. The one which best suites their
needs is the one the student usually picks. The department of education does not currently allow a
student to choose a certain type of loan. The US government recently passed a bill to allow direct loan program
which was one of the first laws signed by president bush.

Direct Student loans are a bank in the USA, so the loans are quite secure.
